The Windsor Hotel hosts an annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater every Spring. Originally built in 1892, this historic hotel will draw you in quickly. Their murder mystery dinner experience begins in the grand lobby and moves into the restaurant with a three-course dinner. Reservations required.
Georgia Southwestern University Dramatic Arts department provides the murder mystery acting with a new drama mystery every spring.
Atlanta
The Dinner Detective is a very large interactive murder mystery comedy dinner show! You will solve a hilarious crime while you feast on a fantastic four-course plated dinner. Everyone is fair game to be a part of the mystery. No costumes for the actors, they look just like you! Are you the killer? You could be!

Petite Violette, a popular French restaurant is now home to the former all-star cast and crew of Agatha’s: A Taste of Mystery from downtown Atlanta which has permanently closed.
Top-notch entertainment includes an outstanding four-course meal with the freshest ingredients, including a glass of wine. Entrees change seasonally with each show and you can visit the Petite Violette site for reservations.
Calhoun
The Calhoun Little Theatre and Harris Arts Center join to bring you an intriguing and tasty evening of murder and mystery. Several times throughout the year, you will find hilarious murder mysteries paired with a delicious three-course meal.
The Arts Center and Little Theatre are located in the historic old Rooker Hotel in downtown Calhoun. The original Rooker hotel was built around the turn of the century. The currently remodeled and beautifully restored Rooker Hotel sits in the heart of downtown.

Cordele
Take a day trip to Cordele and board the Sam Shortline Excursion Train. They host a Murder Mystery Dinner Show occasionally as you ride the rails on historic railroad cars.
An interactive murder mystery unfolds as you enjoy a delicious dinner while riding the rails in middle Georgia. Tickets vanish quickly once they go on sale for this unique entertainment.

Jekyll Island
Once per year, usually in January, the Jekyll Island Club resort will host a spectacular interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. The meal is superb. Sometimes, these dinner shows are for one night only.

Kingsland
The Georgia Coastal Railway plays host to the Murder Mystery Express on regular dates throughout the year. Even though this experience does not include dinner, I didn’t want you to miss this event if you are in the area.
The storyline changes on occasion but the fun never ends. Audience members will help to solve the murder. The story is set during the prohibition in the roaring ’20s, however, the story is subject to change occasionally.
Newnan
Newnan Theatre Company, Newnans only live theatre hosts an occasional murder mystery dinner event. By the end of the night, you will become a part of the show and help to solve the crime. Dinner will be catered by a local restaurant.
Newnan Theatre Company is a busy and active theatre with 8 live performances each season. They are located in beautiful downtown Newnan about 40 miles southwest of Atlanta.
Perry
The Muse Theatre in downtown Perry recently opened after a very beautiful restoration of the historic building. Home to theatrical events including an occasional Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre.
Their first Murder Mystery dinner is scheduled for March of this year. Check their calendar of events for future events.
My husband and I attended their Christmas Musical at The Muse and had a great time. The ambiance was great. The singers/actors were fabulous. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the local talent. It was a fun night.
Porterdale
Newly reopened in early 2022, The Dinner Club Theatre in Porterdale has a wealth of experience with dinner and a live performance going back to 2008. Located just down the street from Covington Square and only a short 36 miles east of Atlanta, visiting The Dinner Club Theatre makes for a nice date night.
The interactive live show is filled with humor to make the audience laugh. You will lose track of time as you try to figure out who-dunnit!
Enter through the grand lobby where you will find a cocktail bar before entering the dining room for a great night of fun.
Savannah
The Dinner Detective in Savannah. Yes, these are the same folks in Atlanta and they also have 5-star reviews in Savannah. They must be good at what they do.
