Murder Mystery Dinner Show is another great way to enjoy a date night. Dinner and a live show are always good. This family entertainment features actors in a live, interactive, and comedic experience with audience members as they work to solve the “murder” through physical clues, spoken dialogue, and inferred character motives.
If you have never attended a murder mystery dinner show, this is a must-do.
OWA Restaurants
There are plenty of options for dining at downtown OWA. Paula Deen’s family kitchen, El Diablo Taqueria & Cantina, The Groovy Goat who are currently catering the Murder Mystery Dinner Show, Sassy Bass Amazin Grill, Lucy’s Retired Surfer’s Bar & Restaurant just to name a few. Plenty of desserts and sweet treats as well including Cinnabon and Hershey’s Ice Cream Parlor.
Shopping at Downtown OWA
The shopping experience at OWA downtown includes boutiques and names you will recognize. There is even a Brandon Styles magic shop you will want to take the kids to after his show. Stop by the Spice & Tea Exchange and stock up before you leave. Shop for a while and then take a break to dine in one of the many restaurants.
The Park at OWA
An amusement park awaits with plenty of rides and entertainment for a day of family fun. It is not an overtly large park so you can easily do it in one day. There are currently about 22 rides.
OWA Rides
Rides include the Rollin Thunder roller coaster with twists, turns, loops, and drops for thrill-seekers. Mystic Mansion ghost tracker, the Rockin Raft whitewater gauntlet, Flying Carousel a high flying merry-go-round, Tea Time spinning teacups, and plenty more. Kids rides and bigger kids rides.
OWA is about more than just amusement park rides so just know, you have time to ride and visit other areas of the park on the same day.
Food at the amusement park
All of that fun and entertainment makes us all hungry. Of course, there is food at the amusement park.

Wacky Waters
Take a break from the rides and go visit the splash pad inside the amusement park. Only open during the summer months. Be sure to reserve your time slot to visit Wacky Waters and purchase the wristband.
