Fair Trade means profits are shared with the growers no matter what part of the world they may be in. This concept facilitates a lot of pride among the coffee community right down to the quality of the cup they brew for you.

Locally owned and operated with excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Known for good service, good coffee, and good pastries. They take coffee brewing so seriously, they even offer classes!
Midtown Coffee House. Columbus.
A family-owned cozy place with a relaxed vibe. Visiting is sort of like sitting in a family living room. 5 out of 5 Trip Advisor reviews. A good place for lunch or coffee and conversation with a friend.
Safehouse Coffee Roasters. Griffin.
A non-profit with a big city feel in a small Georgia town. The atmosphere is gorgeous and there is outdoor seating as well. The place is a gem in their city. It’s not that far off the interstate if you’re traveling the I-75 corridor through middle Georgia.
One of the many great reviews says; “The coffee is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. It’s a true gem.”
Oconee Coffee Roasters. Madison.
Family-owned in downtown Madison. Coffee is made fresh right in front of you. The coffee is the passion of the owners, not fancy beverages. They pour their heart into the coffee beans and care where it comes from and who that person is out there growing those beans. Their beans are sourced around the world and roasted on-site.
Queen Bee Coffee Company. McDonough.
A family-owned small batch coffee roaster and café. They host community events such as movies on their lawn. You will not only find delicious coffee and pastries but plenty of charm and hospitality.
Morning By Morning Coffee. Perry.
A local favorite and for good reason. They took a 1957 gas station and converted it into the most adorable coffee shop with multiple outdoor dining patios including a rooftop version. There is also a drive-thru which is a must during the Covid times we live in.
A full menu of hot beverages and plenty of breakfast foods including some amazing pimento cheese and jalapeño biscuits. Great reviews.
Centerfield Coffee Shop. Royston.
A locally owned coffee shop with a purpose, associated with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. You get more than coffee and pastries. They have longer hours than most coffee shops and serve meal selections throughout the day. The baseball theme creates a just plain fun vibe. Their lunch specials sound scrumptious too.
Grassroots Coffee. Thomasville
These fine folks have been around, successfully, for a while. They have a warehouse locally where they roast, package, and ship their coffee all over the country. You have the distinct pleasure of stopping in for a brew at their downtown Thomasville coffee shop.
Between Friends Coffee. Warner Robins.
A locally owned, literary-themed coffeehouse voted Best of the Best for the last four years in a row in the middle Georgia area. Even their fresh homemade cinnamon rolls are award-winning at Between Friends.
They just happen to be located in an area less than 8 miles off I-75. It’s a nice place to stop from your travels, have a break from the car and relax for a bit.
